Our Story

Doma is a maternal therapy group, surrounded by a trusted village of care.

Founded in September 2026 by Anastasia Voron, LMHC, PMH-C, Doma provides specialized maternal psychotherapy and connects mothers to a curated circle of providers who support the fuller physical, emotional, and practical realities of pregnancy and postpartum.

We believe healing rarely happens in isolation. Rather than leaving mothers to piece together their own care, Doma brings together a trusted network of providers, including acupuncture, nutrition, lactation support, pelvic floor therapy, doula care, and psychiatry, so that every mother we work with has a clear, curated path forward.

“Doma was born from the fact that my story is not an outlier.”

Anastasia Voron

Growing up, I would pretend to be a mom. I never doubted I had a maternal instinct, and pursuing it felt like a life's purpose. And still, motherhood didn't come easy. It still doesn't. I don't think it ever will. I'm a maternal mental health therapist. I knew the language of the perinatal period, and still, I was blindsided.

I never imagined the weight of sleep deprivation, the pain of birth complications, the Postpartum OCD, the D-MER that made me want to cry each time my daughter latched. As someone in love with her partner, I never thought I'd see him as a roommate for so long. And as someone who spends her days advocating for women's health, I never thought I'd be the one who failed to take care of herself through all of it.

Everyone has a question. So few are about you.

Everyone has a question.
‍So few are about you.

How's the baby sleeping? Is she eating enough? Who does she look like? A hundred questions a day — and underneath all of it, the one so few truly ask: but how are you, really? That question is why Doma exists.

Becoming a mother isn't just a medical event.

Matrescence (n)

The deep shift of becoming someone new in motherhood. You are being remade, and that deserves care, language, and people to witness it. Right now, care for mothers is scattered, and the work of navigating it falls on the mother. Doma brings it together: maternal mental health at the core, and the village of care gathered around it.

At Doma, you're allowed to not be okay. You can be cared for, instead of always being the one who cares.

Welcome to Doma. I'm so happy you're here.
